Licensing

When installing OpenEdge, the installation utility prompts you to enter product information from your License Addendum . The installation utility records the license information in the OpenEdge configuration file, progress.cfg. Use the Show Configuration (SHOWCFG) utility to display the product license information for each OpenEdge product installed on your system, as shown:

install-path/bin/showcfg progress.cfg

Note: When you install a client networking license, the ADM/ADM2 directories are not installed in the <OpenEdge-Install-Dir>/tty directory. This r-code is considered part of your application and should be deployed as a module of your application.
